Teena Legris is the owner and director of Nima’ma Maternity Inc., Vancouver’s new maternity boutique that will provide urban moms with quality maternity apparel options, organic skincare and cosmetics, jewellery and accessories – all within a relaxed, contemporary environment. Nima’ma which means “my
mother” in the Woodland Cree dialect, honours Teena’s native heritage while representing reverence for our origins: our mothers and our earth.

A supporter of the “purchase green power” motto which promotes retail and consumer awareness of organically grown and ethically manufactured products; Teena is promoting eco-friendly products with other environmentally-minded business owners and designers such as BYOB Vancouver (Bring Your Own Bag), YUM Gourmet Skincare, Tashodi, and several local and international clothing vendors that incorporate organic pieces into their collections.
