What is The Being and Doing of Business? - Summer 2006 |
Denise Findlay
Certified
Professional Co-Active Coach
TACC Business Advisor
As a coach I
strive to move my clients towards what really makes them tick and to
have them step up to the plate in order to make it a reality. Very
often this requires
work around discovering what exactly does make them tick followed by
the realization that they are doing lots of things that don’t. The
client can then
focus on those things that do and let the other stuff fall away. As far
as business goes I find that clients who are in touch with what they
love about their
business and who focus on these things breath energy and aliveness into
their business leading to natural success and the ability to overcome
challenges
gracefully. This is why I was drawn to coaching; it focuses on the
positive and has us feel fully engaged and fulfilled in our daily
lives. This is what will
sustain us and make our business fun and rewarding over the long term.
In addition to my Certification as a Professional Co-Active Coach I
bring a Diploma in
Business Management, a background in training & facilitation and 15
years experience working in business. I hope to inspire and empower
TACC’s
clients to be the very best that they can be and to have their dreams
become a reality. The possibilities are endless…

Tamara Goddard
Certified Professional Business Counselor
TACC Business Services Officer
As an APEC Business Counselor, I work towards empowering business
owners through education, providing templates, working with and
through strategies and providing direct counseling services. My job is
to listen carefully to the needs of both the individual as well as the
business. It is of the utmost importance that the business goals
match, and even compliment, the life goals of the individual. Together
with my
clients, I work towards clarifying goals, visions and aspirations to
the point where each action is seen as a step towards this larger
vision.
Many times, clients
see the opportunity and the life they
strive to obtain. The piece that is often missing is ‘how to get
there’. My job as a Business Counselor is to give you the tools,
resources and planning you will need to start your business, expand
your business, or to improve your business/life balance.
I am honored to
work for Tale’awtxw Aboriginal Capital Corporation providing these
services in the Coast Salish Territories. As a business owner and
recipient of
the Inspiration Awards ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’, I bring real
experience coupled with ongoing education to my career as a Business
Counselor
and entrepreneur.
