The Sto:lo Tourism Commission Mission Statement:
“Driven by its entrepreneur membership, the Stó:lō Tourism Commission is effectively facilitating capacity building, enterprise development and market expansion initiatives on behalf of its growing grass-roots membership”.
STC was established as an operating entity of SCF in 2004, and has been implementing its comprehensive strategic plan, which was established in 2005, ever since.
STC has a major role in the delivery of authentic Stó:lō and other Aboriginal cultures to present their history, as the People of the River, and their relationship with the Fraser River in partnership with their neighbours.
The Stó:lō Nation Traditional Territory includes 24 First Nation communities that extends from the Fraser Valley up to the lower Fraser Canyon.
